Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well-established, full-service law firm with a strong California presence to hire a Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigation legal assistant who is comfortable supporting multiple attorneys and managing deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

You will support a commercial litigation practice handling complex disputes in state and federal courts, coordinating case activity, managing attorney schedules, and serving as a key point of contact for clients, courts, and outside parties.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence while handling e-filing in state and federal courts
  • Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case logistics, including depositions, hearings, and client meetings
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
  • Organize and maintain case files and document management systems (iManage or similar) while tracking deadlines across multiple matters

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting commercial or civil litigation in a mid-size to large law firm
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, filings, and deadlines
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems such as iManage or similar
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume workloads
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, clients, and team members
